The Concept Store, Sri Lanka’s pioneering homeware vendor, and the retail arm of the Asian Group of Companies, unveiled Inspire Studio on Saturday, May 24, marking the company’s bold entry into the interior design space.

Located on the fifth and sixth floors of The Concept Store, this visionary new showroom concept is set to redefine how Sri Lankans curate their living and work spaces, also representing the company’s commitment to catering to the growing demand for bespoke and customisable lifestyle and commercial solutions.

The new design studio was inaugurated by guests Badli Hisham Adam – High Commissioner of Malaysia to Sri Lanka, Sulaiman Thawoos – Managing Director of Diamond Best Foods, Dewi Gustina Tobing – the Ambassador of Indonesia to Sri Lanka, Mrs. Marie-Noëlle Duris – First Counsellor of Embassy of France, Sri Lanka, together with Haja Hussain, Chairman of Asian Group of Companies.

Several MPs, including former Member of Parliament and Cricket World Cup winning captain Hon. Arjuna Ranatunga.

Inspire Studio is a testament to The Concept Store’s continued commitment to delivering customer-centric experiences, also serving as a one-stop destination for homeowners, architects, and interior designers that offers a comprehensive range of interior solutions. “Inspire Studio is more than just an interiors showroom,” said Hakeem, Managing Director of The Concept Store.

“This is an immersive design experience where curated spaces, real-life setups, and informed consultations empower customers to discover ideas, create their vision, and elevate their lifestyle.”
