My future ambition

We all have ambitions, but my ambition is to be a doctor. It is one of the noblest professions in the world. To achieve this aim, I must work hard. It is not an easy task. I have to score high marks at the G.C.E. (O/L) and G.C.E. (A/L). Then I have to select the bioscience stream for my A/Ls, enter Medical College and get the Bachelor of Medicine degree. Thereafter, I have to practise as a general physician either in a Government hospital or at a private hospital. As a doctor, I must learn tolerance. I have to be kind hearted at all times. Medicine is not the only treatment. Doctors must speak to the patients with kind words. Sometimes, I may be able to cure certain ailments that way. Being a doctor is more of a service than a profession. What is more, the doctor is respected by all.

I think I will be a good doctor.
