This year marks a milestone in Sri Lanka’s cultural tapestry as Bharathanatyam exponent and teacher, Shivananthy Haridharshan celebrates her golden jubilee, fifty years devoted to Bharathanatyam.
The celebration, titled “Suvarna Nritya”, to be held on June 14, at Rama Krishna Hall Colombo will feature a curated program of dances along with her much-acclaimed production, “Anarkali”, showcasing the artistry and dedication of a teacher whose life has been an offering to the arts.
Her students have performed extensively across Sri Lanka at cultural and religious events.
