The Turkish Embassy in Sri Lanka hosted a traditional Turkish breakfast at the official residence of to mark World Breakfast Day.
The event, held last Ambassador Semih Lütfü Turgut on Sunday, was attended by 25 journalists who were invited to experience a variety of authentic Turkish breakfast items. Ambassador Turgut outlined the diversity of Türkiye’s food culture, shaped by influences from Central Asia to Western Europe and added that Turkish cuisine reflects the rich biodiversity and regional variety found across the country.
