President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met Germany’s business, travel and tourism industry officials at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Berlin on Friday, his media division stated in a media release.
President Dissanayke undertook an official visit to Germany last week.
Germany is one of Sri Lanka’s key markets for tourism which recorded 2,439 visitors during the first week of this month. The President attended a business forum hosted by the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce.
He also held bilateral discussions with Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Reem Alabali-Radovan.
