St. Thomas College, Kotte conducted a one day football camp at the college grounds recently. It was held under the patronage of the school principal Rev. Fr. D.A.A. Perera.
More than 50 students from the U-10, U-12 and U-15 age categories took part in the training camp. The Senior Coach and Asian Football Coach D.H. Chandrapala made all arrangements for the day’s session.
The Special guest – Former Secretary of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka, Sunil Senaweera presented soccer balls to the college team.
Rev. Fr. Perera together with the special guest, deputy principals Priyadarshinee Pigera and Wasanthi Kiriwandeniya presented certificates to the participants.
The school’s football coach, Lilanthi Ranaweera, parents, students and old boys were also present.
