Panadura SC will meet CCC in the SLC Major Clubs T20 Cricket Tournament final at the CCC Grounds, commencing at 7.30 p.m.
Panadura SC will have a psychological advantage as they beat CCC by seven runs earlier in the first round. CCC beat BRC and Panadura SC beat Colts in their respective quarter-finals. Panadura SC beat the last year champions NCC and CCC beat Moors SC in the two semi-finals played on Friday at the same venue.
Panadura SC will be led by Dushan Hemantha and Winindu Hasaranga will lead CCC.
20-year-old Vishen Halambage of Panadura SC is the leading batter of the tournament. He scored 283 runs with three half centuries.
Nishan Madushka of CCC (204) and Lahiru Madhusanka of Bloomfield (165) were the other leading batters. Meanwhile, Dushan Hemantha of Panadura SC is the leading bowler with 13 wickets. Sampath Nissanka of NCC (12) and Senitha Halamage of Panadura SC (11) were the other leading bowlers.
