The Double Blue Ball 2025 officially kicked-off with a grand ticket launch at the Old Wesleyites Sports Club – setting the stage for what promises to be a spectacular Las Vegas-themed celebration on August 30 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
The ticket launch drew excitement and energy as batches and individual old boys eagerly purchased their tickets, securing their spot at the glitziest event of the year.
Ceyline Travel (Pvt) Ltd, the main sponsor of the event, played a key role in the launch with Charmini Abeywickrama (CEO – Ceyline Travel) presenting a symbolic cheque to Nawaal Qasim (Co-Chairman, Double Blue Ball 2025), Ritchie Sappideen (former OBU President) and Ranil Thilakaratne (Co-Chairman, Double Blue Ball 2025).
Also gracing the occasion were OWSC President Senaka Amaratunga, several distinguished old boys and supporting sponsors Magnus Creative (Pvt) Ltd., Kiss FM and Global Cargo Care.
Organized by the Wesley College Old Boy’s Union and the Old Wesleyites Sports Club, the Double Blue Ball 2025 is more than just an event, it’s a celebration of brotherhood, camaraderie and spirit.
