Aquaspersions Group, a global provider of water based chemical dispersions, has entered into a strategic licensing and distribution partnership with Haycolour, a subsidiary of Hayleys PLC.
Haycolour will manufacture chemical dispersions, under the Aquaspersions licence, for supply into latex industries, including gloves, mattresses, balloons and rubber toys in Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
A state-of-the-art chemical dispersion facility – the first of its kind in Sri Lanka – will be set up by Haycolour in Kalutara to service local markets within the region.
The groundbreaking ceremony was held on June 5.
The facility is scheduled to be operational by Q4 2025 and will deploy Aquaspersions’ cutting-edge process technology and formulations.
Haycolour will also act as the exclusive distributor of Aquaspersions’ full product portfolio in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
Aquaspersions was first established in 1974 in Halifax, United Kingdom and also has manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and the United States.
