Sri Lanka Insurance Life’s (SLIC Life) Pasal Piriyatha Surakimu Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative was carried out across the island on May 24.
This nationwide initiative saw a multitude of programs taking place, including refurbishment of classrooms, provision of clean drinking water, colour washing and repair work, restoration of desks and chairs, and donation of books for students and school libraries, along with addressing other basic school needs.
The overarching goal is to ensure that children have access to clean, safe, and inspiring learning spaces, especially in underserved communities.
Group Chief Executive Officer Chandana L. Aluthgama, along with the Corporate Management team, Zonal Heads, Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and the wider sales force, played an integral role in executing the 2025 leg of the program, reflecting SLIC Life’s culture of collective responsibility and hands-on leadership.
