The International Yoga Day (June 21) was marked at the Independence Square in Colombo yesterday, under the patronage of the High Commission of India. A large gathering led by Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha participated in Yoga activities. June 21 was declared as the International Yoga Day by the United Nations in 2014, on a proposal submitted by India.
