Alpha Blondy, the world renowned reggae artist from Ivory Coast (Cote d’Ivoire), will perform live for the first time ever in Sri Lanka on July 19, at the Air Force grounds (Rifle Green), Colombo. Joining him on stage is his band Solar System – a powerful ensemble that combines reggae roots sound and afro beat.
Sri Lanka’s very own reggae legend Jaya Sri will be opening for the Alpha Blondy and the Solar System.
Considered the ‘Bob Marley’ of Africa with anthems such as ‘Jerusalem’, ‘Cocody Rock’, and ‘Sebe Allah Y’e’, this July’s Alpha Blondy is a show you don’t want to miss.
