Polycrome Electrical Industries (Pvt) Ltd marked its 45th anniversary recently.
Since its humble beginnings in 1980 under the leadership of D.W. Paranavithana, Polycrome has grown to become a symbol of quality and safety in Sri Lanka’s electrical industry. The company was one of first to introduce plastic MCB enclosures, white ceiling roses, and cable management systems — all designed and manufactured on home soil.
Today, Polycrome employs over 300 people across its main facilities in Boralesgamuwa, Homagama, and Mathugama, and maintains an extensive island-wide sales network with 45 distributors serving over 10,000 dealers.
Throughout its 45-year journey, Polycrome has maintained high standards in safety, quality, and innovation.
As part of the 45th-anniversary celebrations, Polycrome hosted its flagship Achievers Night 2024–2025 Distributor Convention and Star Awarding Ceremony on May 17, at the Water’s Edge, Colombo. The keynote speaker was financial expert and corporate trainer Chaaminda Kumarasiri.
