Sri Lankan exporters showcase products at Thai trade exhibition

Sri Lankan Food and Beverages exporters took part in Thaifex Anuga Asia 2025 which was held from May 27-31 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) in collaboration with the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in the Thailand organised the Sri Lanka Country Pavilion at the exhibition to showcase the products of four Sri Lankan manufacturers, including three SMEs, aiming at potential buyers and distributors in Southeast Asia.

Waguruwela Oil Mills, Ellawala Horticulture, Muswenna Tea Factory, and Ceyland BG Manufacturing & Trading displayed their products in the Country Pavilion at THAIFEX Anuga Asia 2025.

The Sri Lanka Country Pavilion was opened by Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand and Permanent Representative to UNESCAP, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe.

The EDB also organised a six-day Technical Exposure and Capacity Development program concurrently with the exhibition in collaboration with the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Thailand for seven export-potential SME entrepreneurs from May 25-31.
