Chairman of John Keells Holdings Krishan Balendra was elected chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) at its annual general meeting on June 26.

Balendra succeeds Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Sri Lanka, and the Senior Economic Advisor to the President of Sri Lanka, Duminda Hulangamuwa.
