Joes, Ladies’ and Lyceum bag Milo swimming titles

St. Joseph’s College Swimming Team with officials

St. Joseph’s College retained the Boys’ Overall Championship at the 50th Milo All-Island Schools Age Group Aquatic Championships with 562 points at the Sugathadasa Stadium Swimming Complex in Colombo.

Ananda College, Colombo (268 points) and Lyceum College, Wattala (238.50 points) emerged as the first and second runners-up respectively.

Meanwhile, Ladies’ College produced a stellar performance to win the Girls’ Overall Championship (349 points). Lyceum Wattala (280 points) and Musaeus College (264 points) took second and third positions respectively.

In the Mixed Schools Championship, Lyceum, Wattala, emerged champions for the fifth successive year by accumulating 349 points. Lyceum Gampaha (311.50 points) and Lyceum Nugegoda (197 points) emerged as the first and second runners-up respectively.
