SL promoted as champs at Billie Jean King Cup

Sri Lanka proudly showed its strength not only on the court but also as an excellent host nation by successfully organising the Billie Jean King Cup – Asia/Oceania Group III, Event A, at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association Courts in Colombo.

The well-planned and smoothly run tournament ended in glory for the home team, as the Sri Lanka Women’s Tennis Team earned promotion to Group II with a brilliant performance.

With the official ball sponsorship from Dunlop (AMCOM Private Limited) and strong support from the Sports Ministry and SLTA, the tournament ran smoothly and to high standards. (SJ)
