The Zahira College Group of ’80 (Old Boys) inaugurated the Book Club at the school’s Swimming Pool Auditorium under the patronage of the President of the Group of ’80 M. M. M. Muhinudeen recently.
Principal of the College Trizvii Marikar stressed the importance of reading and said, “If you are a good reader, no need to go to school.” He thanked the Group of ’80 for launching the Book Club.
Chief Guest of the ceremony, Past President of the Group of ’80, Zulfikar Ahamed, Past President M. U. M. Azmi also addressed the gathering.
Dr. Rizwan Jaldeen handed over the set of books to Principal Marikkar at the ceremony.
Deputy Principal M.M. Sahzuli, Vice Principal Ms. Zeenath Islamic, Book Club President Master Yahya Baneen, students and member of the Group of ’80 were also present
