Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa visited the Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited’s factory in Kandana on Friday (4), to review operations and distribution.
During the visit, Minister Dr. Jayatissa engaged with the Board of Directors, discussing the company’s production processes, raw material procurement, transport challenges, human resource matters, and marketing plans.
He also reviewed how Thriposha products are distributed islandwide — by rail to districts such as Badulla, Nuwara Eliya, and Matale, and by truck to Kegalle, Kalutara, Kilinochchi, Colombo, Gampaha, and Puttalam.
Chairman Amal Attanayake and senior officials told the Minister that the factory is running 24 hours a day at full capacity, with maize procurement carried out directly and transparently. Distribution is reportedly proceeding smoothly in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines.
