Apparel industry receives respite

Sri Lanka’s apparel industry, which received a respite through the reduction of United States Reciprocal Tariffs, received another boost on Friday with the United Kingdom announcing substantial concessions under its Developing Countries Trading Scheme. The apparel industry is geared to fulfill more orders and expand operations to meet any additional demand.
