The two semi-finals of the SLC Tier ‘B’ Inter-Club Cricket Tournament will be worked off on Monday and Tuesday at the SSC Grounds in Maitland Place.
Galle CC, the leader of Group ‘B’ will meet Moratuwa CC, the runners-up of Group ‘A’ in the first semi-final on Monday at the SSC Grounds.
Meanwhile, SSC, the leader of Group ‘A’ will meet Negombo CC, the runners-up of Group ‘B’ in the second semi-final on Tuesday at the SSC Grounds.
12 teams competed in two groups with SSC defeating Moratuwa SC, Sebastianites C & AC, Kandy Custom SC and United Southern SC in the first round.
Galle CC advanced to the semi-finals with victories over Army SC, Ragama CC, Leo CC and Navy SC. They lost to Negombo CC in the first round. Meanwhile, the final of the Tier ‘B’ Inter-Club Cricket Tournament will be played on July 18 at the SSC Grounds.
