Would SRI LANKA be put in his hot list after the winner is announced?
Missology in their latest article questions, can Argentina win its 2nd Miss Universe crown this year? Well, it boasts a past Miss Universe winner — Norma Nolan who took the crown in 1962. However, that’s 63 years ago and Argentina isn’t exactly a beauty superpower. But hopes are quite high this year. In 2024, Magali Benejam was an early frontrunner and she made it to the Top 12. Now, a stunning candidate will represent Argentina.
Aldana Masset is a singer, a model and a stunning beauty. Since results of Miss Universe 2024 strongly indicates that sash weight is now immaterial, Aldana has a pretty good shot at the crown and title. Beauty experts are swooning over her elegant beauty. Some even claimed she’s a Victoria Kjær Theilvig 2.0!
If the current trend at Miss Universe will hold, this can easily benefit “crownless” countries such as Portugal and Zambia. But it would be entirely wrong if we simply dismiss the chances of traditional superpowers such as Venezuela and the Philippines. Maybe the last two years were just a fluke and Miss Universe will return to its former self where sash weight can sway the results. After all, fan base still matters and beauty superpowers have ample firepower in this department.
