Jayasinghe, Perera bag NSF cycling titles

D. S. C. Jayasinghe and K. A. S. N. Perera, both from the Western Province won the Men’s and Women’s gold medal respectively in the 49th National Sports Festival (NSF) Cycling event conducted by the Sports Ministry and the Sports Development Department and held in Hikkaduwa yesterday.

Results:

Men’s: Gold medal – D. S. C. Jayasinghe (Western Province), Silver medal – W. D. P. S. Weerasinghe (North Central Province), Bronze medal – S. M. K. Sanjula (North Central Province).

Women’s: Gold medal – K. A. S. N. Perera (Western Province), Silver medal – Akasha Sandamini (Western Province), Bronze Medal – Panchali Sulochana (Western Province).
