GoBeyond 2025, an initiative from AIESEC in the University of Sri Jayewardenepura that seeks to foster a new wave of youth leadership in Sri Lanka, will be launched on July 31, 2025.
What is AIESEC?
AIESEC is the largest global youth-founded organization with a presence in 109 countries and territories. AIESEC has been organizing cross-cultural exchange programs for decades, aiding young people to become responsible and value-oriented leaders. Its purpose shows the need of the hour ‘Peace and fulfillment of humankind’s potential, which can be achieved by activating leadership through experiential learning.’
Like many other local chapters in the country, AIESEC in USJ is one of the most active and has focused on empowering youth initiatives not only at the university, but across the country. With a strong culture of leadership, impact, and global thinking, AIESEC in USJ continues to raise the bar through innovative projects, and GoBeyond 2025 is the next bold stride.
What is GoBeyond 2025?
GoBeyond is not yet another initiative. It is a young people’s movement for change. It seeks to motivate young Sri Lankans to leave their “bubble” and embrace the world with meaningful international voluntary opportunities.
