Bollywood Star, handsome hunk once described as a Greek god will walk on the red carpet at the official opening of the City of Dreams, Sri Lanka on August 2nd.
The internationally acclaimed luxury hotel brand will at its grand launch have the Bollywood star as one of the special guests.
City of Dreams in Sri Lanka is a result of a partnership between Melco, a renowned developer , owner and operator of integrated resort facilities in Asia and Europeand Jhon Keels Holdings PLC (JKH) Sri Lanka’s largest listed conglomerate.
Earlier, the organizers of the City of Dreams launch – described as the event of the year, announced that Bollywood star Shar Rukh Khan will attend, thereafter he informed that he is unable to.
Hrithik Roshan is extremely popular in Sri Lanka. The movies that had massive followings here were “Dhoom 2”, “Jodhaa Akbar”, and “Guzaarish”. in which he starred with bollywood star Aishweraya Rai, another favourite in Sri Lanka. Hrithik Roshan, born on January 10, 1974, is a prominent Indian actor known for his work in Bollywood films. He debuted as a lead actor in the 2000 blockbuster “Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai” which launched him to superstardom. Roshan is recognized for his dancing skills, muscular physique, and critically acclaimed performances in various genres.
Born into a Bollywood family, his father, Rakesh Roshan, is a filmmaker, and his mother, Pinkie, is the daughter of producer and director J. Om Prakash. His paternal grandparents, Roshanlal Nagrath (composer) and Ira Nagrath (singer), were also involved in the film industry.
He attended Bombay Scottish School and Sydenham College, earning a bachelor’s degree in commerce.
Roshan’s first on-screen appearance was as a child actor in the 1980 film “Aasha”. His breakthrough role came in “Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai,” which won him multiple awards. He has since starred in numerous successful films, including “Koi… Mil Gaya,” “Krrish,” “Dhoom 2,” “Jodhaa Akbar,” and “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,” among others.
Roshan has received multiple Filmfare Awards for Best Actor and is known for his versatility in action, romance, and drama. He is also recognized for his dancing skills and his ability to maintain a fit physique, inspiring a fitness trend in India. Roshan married Sussanne Khan in 2000, and they have two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan.The couple separated in 2013 and finalized their divorce in 2014. As of 2023, he is reportedly dating actress Saba Azad.
