In a thrilling Inter-Schools rugby encounter St. Anthony’s College defeated Vidyartha College 48-31 at the Nittawela Stadium in Kandy yesterday.
The Antonians stamped their authority early and never looked back. By half time they surged ahead with a commanding 31–14 lead, showcasing slick attacking rugby and sharp execution under pressure. Despite a spirited comeback attempt by Vidyartha in the second half, the Antonians maintained control and sealed the match with a convincing 48–31 victory.
Their relentless momentum and disciplined performance proved too much for the Vidyarthians.
