Is there an alternative to IMF assistance?
Sri Lanka is now facing a severe financial crisis and has sought the assistance of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The Government is expected to implement certain economic reforms for this purpose. Currently the Sri Lankan authorities have reached a Staff-Level Agreement with the IMF.
