The finals in the President’s Gold Cup Volleyball Championship will be played at the National Youth Services Council indoor courts Maharagama on December 15 commencing at 9 a.m.
The finals in the men’s and women’s categories under-22 and Open events will be worked off in the Championship sponsored by Dialog.
The Championship was played for nearly three months at district, provincial and national levels with a view to giving an opportunity for rural folk to engage in the national sport and make their way to higher levels. Ratnapala SC, Mahauswewa take on Alamona SC in the women’s under-22 final while Rajasinghe SC, Ruwanwella meet Damissara SC, Nattandiya in the men’s final.
Casual Line, SC, Kurunegala will battle Vijaya SC, Koswadiya in the women’s Open final while Siyane Tharu SC, Gampaha take on Balress SC, Colombo in men’s Open final.
