Teachers of the Zahira College Advanced Level section and English section participated in the Guru Talents drama contest. The Advanced Level section became winners and English section became runners-up in the finals. The awards ceremony was held at the Eagle Lakeside, Attidiya recently. Advanced Level section received Rs. 50,000 and English section received Rs. 20,000 cash awards from Deputy Principals of Zahira College Ananda Ponnamperuma and Razeen Hassan.
