Veteran Sri Lankan sportsman Ibrahim Hamid who is the Chairman of the Judges Committee of the National Shooting Sports Federation of Sri Lanka will once again represent his country as the sole representative to serve in the Elite Jury Panel in the ISSF World Cup in New Delhi from March 14 to 26.
At the 2019 World Cup, Hamid served as a Member of the Rifle Jury and excelled in many international competitions including the Asian Air Gun Championships in Japan in 2017 and Asian Games in Jakarta the following year.
The present invitation for Hamid is a reflection of the esteem in which he’s held within the international sports shooting fraternity.
Hamid was an outstanding rugby player for Police and also served as an administrator in Sri Lanka Rugby.
At present he serves in the Asian Panel For Citing Commissioners in World Rugby.
