The Education Ministry has further postponed the reopening of all schools islandwide to May 7.
In view of the spike in Covid- 19 cases islandwide, the ministry issued the announcement yesterday. Earlier the ministry said the schools countrywide will remain closed till April 30.
The Health and Education officials will review the decision to re-open schools again on May 7.
The Bishop’s House stated that the Catholic Private Schools will also remain closed until May 7, in keeping with the decision of the Government.
