“The programs of the Institute of Hypnosis and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Lanka are breaking new ground in the arena of tertiary education,”  said Vice-Chancellor of Esoft Metro Campus, Prof. S. Sandarasegaram.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the  annual awards ceremony of The Institute of Hypnosis and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Lanka (IHNLP) recently.

The ceremony recognised Certified NLP practitioners and Master Practitioners who have successfully completed the Certified NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner courses.

The guests of honour were Chairman, National Design Centre, Ajith Jayawardhana, and MD and CEO of Bridge to Bridge Solutions, Dr. Prasanna Wijesinghe.

Prof. Sandarasegaram said, “I was informed that NLP programs conducted by the institute are used to treat a wide range of conditions now effecting the community and unwanted/unhealthy behaviour such as phobias, addiction, family/work conflicts, sleep disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic disorders and depression. You are conducting courses selected by using criteria such as opportunities for professional development, needs of the job market and relevant to the societal needs and also meeting the challenges of the emerging knowledge economy in Sri Lanka by producing youth capable of joining it with relevant knowledge and soft skills,” the Professor said.

NLP is a way of changing the thinking pattern and behaviour using verbal and non-verbal communication to achieve desired outcomes for anyone.

All the NLP courses conducted by IHNLP Lanka are accredited by NLP Association of Excellence (NLPEA), UK, and the courses conducted and supervised by NLP Trainer Jaliya Rathnayake.
