Last weekend, we went on a trip to Galle and visited many interesting places. First, we went to the Galle Fort. We walked around the Fort and then visited the Light House. We visited two museums and learnt many things about our history. After that, I felt so proud about our country.
After lunch, we went to Koggala. We went to Madol Duwa by boat. The Koggala Oya was very beautiful and I enjoyed the boat ride. My sister told me the story of Madol Duwa. My father promised to buy this book for me. Then, we visited the home of the famous writer, Martin Wickramasinghe.
Finally, we had a nice time on the beach. The sunset was very beautiful.
We left Galle around six o’clock in the evening. I think I am very lucky to be a Sri Lankan.
Let’s protect our beautiful country.
