Cruise service boosts tourism in Jaffna

Since the inaugural visit of the cruise ship to the Kankesanthurai Port (KKS) on June 16 over 6,000 tourists from India have visited Jaffna.

The tourists enjoy a holiday adventure in Jaffna, with its rich history and cultural bonds with South India.

Arrangements were made yesterday, September 16, to hold a ceremony near the KKS Port by Consulate General of India, Jaffna, Northern Province, Governor P. S. M. Charles, DS Office Tellippalai and Vali North Pradeshiya Sabha with the assistance of theNorthern Province Tourism Bureau. to celebrate this success.

The cruise service is operated by Cordelia Cruises of India.
