Exterminators PLC received the ISO 9001 quality management system certification for the 15th consecutive year.
This certification acknowledges the company’s commitment to providing exceptional pest management and disinfection services to its clients.ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard that sets out the criteria for a quality management system.
By achieving this certification for the past 15 years, Exterminators PLC has demonstrated its dedication to consistently meeting customer requirements and enhancing customer satisfaction. This certification highlights the company’s ability to effectively manage its processes, resources, and internal controls to deliver high-quality services.
In addition to being certified under ISO 9001, Exterminators PLC has also obtained several other notable certifications.
It was the first pest control company in Sri Lanka to achieve ISO 14001 certification for environmental management system way back in 2009.
It also was the first pest management company to certify under ISO 45001 for health and safety management system in 2010. Exterminators also acquired ISO 22000 certification for its food safety management system in 2017. In 2020, the company was names as the first Covid-19 SLS-certified SME company.
“I have been involved with Exterminators PLC and its ISO quality management system since 2008, and we created history by becoming the first integrated SME and service company in Sri Lanka way back in 2010, and in 2020 we created history yet again by becoming arguably the world’s first ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22000 certified sanitation and disinfection service provider,” Director, Exterminators, Dr. Nihal Attygalle.
