This is the third fund-raising sing along. The first one was held in 2017 and the other was in 2019.

Executive, Co-ordinator (Honorary) Heart to Heart Trust Fund Shanti Fernando said that over the initial nine-year period, they have been able to help save over 550 lives.

The Abhayadanaya program, as it is called, is yet another fundraiser organised by the Heart to Heart Trust Fund. Families and individuals too can join this program by sponsoring a patient to commemorate an event or anniversary or celebrate a wedding or other social event by saving a life of a cardiac patient with the money which they will otherwise spent on a celebration.

This is an inspirational and invigorating experience for patients to find compassionate persons, or individuals, who are caring to meet their needs, the cost for surgery and be a beacon of hope.
