Build SL Housing and Construction Expo concludes today

The 19th edition of the Build Sri Lanka Housing and Construction Expo which opened at the BMICH on Friday concludes today, Sunday, at 9 pm.

A special feature that will draw the attention of visitors will be the ‘Dedicated China Trade Pavilion’ showcasing products of companies from China. Another attraction will be the displays of the Tri Forces.

With the Sri Lanka economy moving back to positive territory and with the interest shown to date by e industry stakeholders all indications are that the Build Sri Lanka 2024 will be one ofthe largest and important construction sector related exhibitions held in Sri Lanka.

Organised by the Chamber of Construction Industry Sri Lanka (CCISL), the event was opened by the Secretary of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing W.S. Sathyananda, Second Secretary of the Embassy of China (EOC) Wang Jian and Third Secretary of the EOC, Gang Zichao.

Build Sri Lanka 2024 will showcase the latest developments in the building and construction industry, with eminent industry experts, stake holders and decision makers in attendance, making it an ideal event to source new products, network and usher in new contacts and business opportunities.

Over 50,000 trade visitors are expected over the course of the event, looking to source the latest, inventive products on offer, not accessible otherwise in the local market, in addition to new product launches. This exhibition will also feature many stalls of companies from several countries making it truly international exhibition.

The event segments of this year’s expo are building and construction materials, interior decor and furniture, tools and equipment, construction consultancy services, construction machinery and industrial vehicles, sustainable construction and green building, China trade pavilion, tri services pavilion and small and medium entrepreneurs pavilion.

This year the Exhibition is held on the slogan “We will Build Sri Lanka” to rejuvenate the construction industry and Sri Lanka’s outing economy.
