Hi Children
There’s an old saying that says, “God couldn’t be everywhere, so He made mothers.” Isn’t that true? Moms seem to be there for everything!
When you’re a little sprout, your mom’s your whole world. She feeds you yummy food, keeps you warm and snug as a bug in a rug, and teaches you all sorts of cool things – like what a cow moos like or how to zoom around on your first bike!
Later, when you’re conquering school or turning into a teenager (a stage that can sometimes be tricky!), your mom’s still there for a million reasons.
She might cook your favourite meals, wash your clothes after a messy camp adventure, help you untangle homework knots, lend a hand with finding a perfect present for your best friend, or even clip your toenails (ew!).
She might also tuck you in at night, make sure you know right from wrong, and teach you grown-up things like using a fork and knife properly or how to behave around others.
When you’re older and maybe even studying far away, your mom might not be there every single day. But guess what? She’s still cheering you on in her heart! If you ever feel sad or need a hug, she’s always just a phone call or visit away, ready to listen and support you.
Here’s the most important thing to remember: a mom’s love is like a warm blanket – always there to comfort you no matter what. Moms are the best because they love us unconditionally, which means they love us no matter what silly things we do or how messy our rooms get!
Sometimes, stories and pictures make moms seem like superheroes who can do everything perfectly. They always pack the right lunch, their clothes are never wrinkled, and they never get stressed!
Guess what? Real moms are even cooler! Sure, sometimes they might forget your lunch or wear pyjamas to school drop-off. They might even burn the toast! But here’s the secret: even though they’re not perfect, they’re the best moms ever because they love us so much!
Moms are there for us through thick and thin. They cuddle us when we’re little, help us with homework when we’re bigger, and are always there with a hug when we’re feeling down. They teach us amazing things, from how to ride a bike to how to be kind.
This Mother’s Day, let’s celebrate all the amazing moms in our lives, perfect or not! Give your mom a big hug and tell her how much you love her for everything she does, even if she forgets your lunch once in a while. But they do their absolute best, and that’s what truly matters.
So give your mom a big squeaky hug, tell her all the things you love about her, and make her feel extra special today!
Remember, moms love us no matter what, and that’s the most super power of all!
Bye for now!
