All-rounder Sonal Dinusha making his debut for Sri Lanka A smashed an unbeaten 126 on the first day of their four-day match against Afghanistan A at the P Sara Oval in Colombo yesterday as the home team ended at 327 for 7.

Sri Lanka A skipper Pasindu Sooriyabandara won the toss and chose to bat first and openers Oshada Fernando (32) and Lahiru Udara (65 in 67 balls with 11 fours) put on an 84 runs stand.

Sonal Dinusha the former Mahanama College all-rounder batting at number six struck 13 fours well supported by wicket keeper Vishad Randika who scored 63 with 11 fours. The pair added 115 runs for the sixth wicket.
