Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) yesterday confirmed that Aruna Darshana has officially qualified to represent Sri Lanka at the Paris Olympics.
He will become the sixth member of the team of athletes. Darshana was initially ranked 51st in the Road to Paris and will compete in the 400m event. His dream has now become a reality after the World Athletics communicated his selection via email to Sri Lanka Athletics yesterday morning.
