The Maldives High Commission in Sri Lanka organized an art exhibition titled “Nala Dhivehi Raajje: A Visual Journey Through the Maldives” featuring popular Maldivian artist Abdullah Faiz, to mark the Republic Day of the Maldives.

The inauguration ceremony was held recently at the J.D.A. Perera Gallery, University of Visual and Performing Arts, Horton Place, Colombo 7. The event was hosted by High Commissioner of the Maldives to Sri Lanka, Masood Imad.

The Chief Guest, Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media, Deepa Liyanage, officially opened the exhibition.

The exhibition showcases both historical and contemporary landscapes of the Maldivian islands, highlighting its culture and the way of life of its people.
