MCA commissions new indoor nets

The Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) opened new indoor cricket nets on Wednesday (13).

The main purpose for opening this stadium is to allow young cricketers to practice at any given time.

The Nets were ceremonially declared opened by Shammi Silva the president of Sri Lanka Cricket.

He did not make any official speech and left the premises after a brief stay and the ceremony was attended by many cricket lovers of MCA.

Many young cricketers attend cricket practices at the MCA that the new facility is set to help them enhance their skills to higher levels.

The indoor nets will enable them to practice at all times without being hindered by rainy weather.

The MCA inaugurated four indoor nets in the school that is conducting lessons during the weekdays and weekends. (TBR)
