Education experts have requested the Government to hold the GCE Advanced Level examination on the dates currently scheduled. They say that the students who faced various exams faced severe difficulties due to the postponement of the exams due to
the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Experts say that as the situation has become normal now and exams should be held as scheduled.
They say that if the examination is postponed for any reason, all other examinations, and evaluation of answer scripts, will again be delayed.
They point out that since the A-Level exam is a competitive exam, it is not unfair to any student, and they also emphasise that the A-Level should not be postponed at all now that the examination procedure and conduct of education in Schools has been restored after the COVID pandemic.
