Govt policies have made the people poor – SJS Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa

Samagi Jana Sandhanaya (SJS) Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa said that the people have become poor due to Government policies.

He was addressing a public rally at Kantale, Seruwila.

Opposition Leader Premadasa said, “The people have become poor due to the ineffective Government policies and we shouldn’t be a society where people have to live on the dole forever.

We are a proud nation and we need to prepare the necessary background where people can stand on their own and not be slaves.

A new program will be implemented to eradicate poverty for those who have no livelihood, income and cannot afford three meals a day, he added.
