Limansa Tillekaratne, the daughter of former Sri Lanka captain Tillekaratne Dilshan, is in a Sri Lanka Under-19 women’s cricket squad to tour Australia for a tri-nation series that also involves New Zealand.
Promising Manudi Nanayakkara of Princes of Wales Girls’ College Moratuwa will lead the team.
The 16-member squad includes vice captain Rashmika Sewwandi from Anura Vidyalaya Matara and six players, Sumudu Nisansala, Sanjana Kavindi, Rashmi Nethranjali, Hiruni Hansika, Shehara Induwari and Nethagi Isuranjali from Devapathiraja Vidyalaya in Ratgama, Galle.
Others in the squad are Chamodi Prabodha from Moneragala Pannandan Maha Vidyalaya, Vimoksha Balasuriya from Sinhala Central College Trincomalee, Pramudi Methsara from Uhana Maha Vidyalaya Ampara, Donali Tennakoon from Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya Kurunegala and Limansa Tillekaratne the daughter of retired Sri Lanka captain and batsman Tillekaratne Dilshan.
