International Taekwondo competition in Vietnam

Razik Fareed Masyath Sara, a Sri Lankan student from Puttalam, won a silver medal in the sparring Junior 355 kg weight category and a bronze medal in the poomsae Junior 2 category at the “2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championships” held in Vietnam, bringing pride to Sri Lanka.

The “Vietnam 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championships,” organised by the World Police Taekwondo Federation, was recently held in Halong City, Vietnam.

The student represented the Puttalam K.K.D. Club in the competition, with the participation of 29 countries.

Sara is a student of Madurankuli Excellence School and an alumna of Fathima Muslim Ladies College, Puttalam.

She is the youngest daughter of the late Sir Razik Fareed and Faiza.
