Appeal for ‘O’ group kidney
Thirty-six-year-old H.A. Chaminda Diaz is in End Stage kidney failure. Consultant Nephrologist, NHSL, Colombo, Dr. A.L.M. Nazar has recommended live kidney transplantation for his survival.
The patient’s blood group is O positive and needs a kidney of a person whose blood group is ‘O’.

‘Sri Lanka Next-A Blue Green era’
The official opening of ‘Sri Lanka Next-A Blue Era’ conference and the 5th Asia Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum with Presidential Environmental Awards Ceremony 2016 will be held at the BMICH on October 18 at 9.00 a.m., under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena. Panel discussion
A panel discussion on ‘Pioneers of Buddhist Revival’ will be held at the All Ceylon Women’s Buddhist Congress, 400, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7 on Friday, October 21 at 4.00pm.
