Sri Lanka Library Association (SLLA) will hold its first ever Open Day today, October 30 at the premises of the Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka, 275/75, Prof. Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha, off Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Day will be for prospective students who are awaiting results in G.C.E.(A/L), parents, current employees, and all those who are willing to join libraries and information centres.
All participants will be able to have hands-on experience of what SLLA is planning for the year 2016/2017 in the field of Library and Information Studies in Sri Lanka.
The SLLA is the only professional association in Sri Lanka awarding the Chartered Membership in Library and Information Science. It is a locally and internationally recognised institution in this fast growing discipline.
