A 15-member high powered business delegation from Belgium will be visiting Sri

Lanka next month. The Embassy of Belgium in India in association with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the Sri Lanka–Benelux Business Council will be organising ‘Sri Lanka–Belgium Business Forum’ followed by B2B meetings on December 1 at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce auditorium.

Among the delegates interested in meeting local companies are Belgian Chocolate Group (www.thebelgian.com), Cross Border Solutions (www.cross-bordersolutins.be), Deliva (www.deliva.be), FAMOCO (www.famoco.com), G-TEC (www.g-tec.eu) and SBE International (www.sbe.be). These high-powered delegates are interested in appointing distributors to market quality chocolates, Identification of financing opportunities and facilitation of secure export finance solutions for international project development, Vacuum food technology where a collaboration can be based on the input of ‘know-how’ on vacuum cooking technologies or participation in a Joint Venture.

Android Devices - to find potential local customer companies (direct supplies) to pursue and intensify existing contacts, follow a specific project such as E-Governance, Mobile Money, Mobility, Transportation etc.

Integrated Geotechnical and Geophysical Soil Investigation Solutions - port development, dredging, trenching projects and Engineering Consultants - port and hydraulic engineering, civil engineering and infrastructure, geo-technics/industrial constructions, buildings and electro-mechanics.
