The National Council of the YMCAs of Sri Lanka has organised the Lilian Weeresinghe Bible Essay Competition on the theme: ‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself.’ (Matthew 22:39) for age groups: A. 13 to 15; B. 16 to 19. No of words: A. 250 – 300; B. 350 – 400.
Languages: Sinhala, Tamil and English.
Please submit your essays before the closing date 28.02.17 to any of the YMCAs in Sri Lanka with the child’s full name, age, school, grade, address, and contact no., certified by the school principal or the Church priest.
The first three winners will be awarded cash prize and certificates and the participants will be awarded certificates.
